Use the current diagnostic criteria for epilepsy and seizures, as well as psychopathological criteria for the identification of cognitive impairment, personality deviations and non-psychotic affective disorders, in accordance with Section X of the International Classification of Diseases, revision of the Mental disorders due to injury and dysfunction of the brain - F. 6.9. Predominates cryptogenic partial epilepsy (36 patients), significantly fewer occurred idiopathic generalized epilepsy (9), including in the form of juvenile myoclonic (4), junior absansnoy (2) and epilepsy with generalized convulsive seizures on awakening (3). The same number (9) were adolescents with partial symptomatic epilepsy. Attention is drawn to the large share of early openings (5 patients the onset of disease in the age range from 1 year to 2 years and 12 patients - from 2 to 5). In the age range from 5 to 11 years of disease onset occurred in 13 patients. The greatest number of first fell ill after 11 years - 24 patients. By the time the survey was the disease duration: 2-3 years - 7 persons 4-7 years - 9 8-10 years - 22 people aged 11-12 - 11 13-15 - 5 people. A similar distribution for the duration of illness may indicate a poor course and the low efficiency of the applied treatment. Among the surveyed teenagers - 29 boys and 25 girls, disabled children - 2 in the auxiliary school had four teenagers, 2 were at the individual (home) training. Thus, the vast majority of teens surveyed were able to learn, although due to the changing status of some of them are in need of academic leave and additional assistance to teachers and parents. Meanwhile, in connection with behavioral problems, mostly young men, often there were conflicts in the school with teachers or students, and parents. In cases of antisocial behavior required police intervention. According to a clinical-psychopathological and experimental-psychological examination of every 4 adolescent patients showed a varying degree of cognitive impairment (24%), and every 5-th - personality disorders. In retrospect, the initial signs of cognitive impairment can be attributed to about 8 or 9 years of age, whereas the risk of personality disorders are predominantly 15-16 years.
